Anniversary Trip - Day 1

Lisa & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year! To celebrate we planned a trip to New York City by way of Philadelphia. It was cheaper to fly to Philadelphia and then take a train into New York, so that's what we did! The focus of our trip was to see some Broadway shows and some baseball games. On our first day we drove to Nashville and flew to Philadelphia.
As soon as we landed we rushed to our hotel and then Citizens Bank Park to see the Philadelphia Phillies play!

We had great seats! Nine rows up from the Phillies dugout. The stadium was only built a few years ago and is very nice.
April 15th is Jackie Robinson Day honoring him on the day he integrated baseball. Everyone wears #42 (Jackie's number) to honor him. This is Ryan Howard.
We've been able to see more stadiums lately. This was my least favorite. For a newer stadium it didn't seem as fan friendly as some of the others. And the Philadelphia fans are every bit as annoying as their reputation. We did get great cheese steaks though and were able to cross another ball park off our list!
