Bailey

It is a sad day for us.  We lost Bailey (full name Bad Ass Hailey Bailey Bobsled Bobberino) today after a pretty tough week for her.  She is preceded in death and welcomed to the pack in heaven by Heidi, Sadie, Casey, and Boris.  She is survived by Duncan, Hollie, Katy, Bentley, Duffy, Nemo, and Gandalf.  We are lucky to have had her in our life for so long.  We will miss her and look forward to seeing her again.  Hopefully she has a squeeky toy, some ham, and a laser light with her tonight!

We love you and miss you!

BYU at Georgia Tech

Lisa and I took advantage of BYU playing in the South and we went to Atlanta to see the Cougars play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

We arrived early for the pre-game festivities.  The band, cheerleaders, and fans all line up on "Yellow Jacket Alley" to cheer as the players enter the stadium.

We were subtle in our support of BYU.

We took a lot of pictures of ourselves in our wigs, but we posed for even more for other people's pictures.  I'm sure I showed up on facebook more yesterday than the rest of my life combined.

The game was a lot of fun, especially since BYU won 41-17.  As they are at Braves games, the fans in Atlanta are very friendly which always helps the experience.  Hopefully Georgia Tech will reconsider canceling the contract and keep the future games with BYU.

Fall in the Smokies

We took advantage of the great fall weather to spend some time in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Tower of Terror Ten Miler

Lisa and Angie were able to take their sisters trip to Walt Disney World where they ran in the Tower of Terror 10 Mile Run.  In addition to the race, they were able to see the four parks and attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

They pampered themselves by staying in the Beach Club Resort, one of the deluxe resorts on property.

Dressed as Sully and Mike for the Halloween party.

Atlanta & Chattanooga

A few weeks ago, we went to Atlanta to visit my mom and my sister's family.  My mom was in town to help my sister after she had her second baby.  We were able to hang out with my mom and Nathan and visit the new family in the hospital.

Last weekend, my mom was still in Atlanta, so we decided to meet half way in Chattanooga.  Dan and Nathan came too while Cammie stayed home with the baby.  We went to the Tennessee Aquarium.

The aquarium has two building, The River Adventure and the Ocean Adventure.  Both are pretty cool and both offer nice views of Chattanooga.

We started in the River building.  In addition to the fish, there were snakes, otters, frogs, salamanders, turtles, and tortoises on display.

Apparently this was the only Leopard Tortoise picture they had.....

The Ocean building starts with some macaw and a butterfly room.  Lisa liked the birds.  My mom showed Lisa how to get a butterfly to land on you.

My favorite part of the Ocean building is the jellies area.  They have a lot of them and they are displayed quite nicely.  After the aquarium we all went to lunch.  It was nice to get to see family two weekends in a row.
