Last Tuesday Lisa had to work but I had the day off. Perfect time for a ballgame! John and I went to the last regular season game for the Tennessee Smokies. The ballpark is about 25 minutes from Knoxville, on the way to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Former Cubs great, and Hall of Famer, Ryne Sandberg is the manager of the Smokies. We tried to get his autograph but no luck. We took advantage of the fact that the Smokies were trying to sell off all the extra hot dogs from the season. That, along with the Smokies victory, made for a pretty good evening!
