On Sunday we woke up to great weather. Lisa and I walked just across the street from our hotel to a marina on Lake Union.
Our morning destination was Pike Place Market. It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of fresh flower shops and a bakery that was selling donuts the size of a frisbee. I just ordered a regular size donut though. There were also a lot of fish vendors...
...but only one that is world famous!
In an alley of Pike Place Market there is a gum wall. Many, many people have discarded their used gum on this wall. Now that number includes the four of us!
It is both disgusting and awesome!
After the market we went to Safeco Field to see the Seattle Mariners play the New York Yankees. We had club level seats again. It was a good game. Griffey homered, Jeter got a hit, and A-Rod went 0-4 in the Yankee loss.
After the game we drove around Lake Washington. There was a park where we watched a few seaplanes land.
It was a good time of day to be at the park. On our way back from the park we ate at a great seafood restaurant.
