For Lisa's birthday I wanted to take her to Nashville to see Mary Poppins the Broadway musical, but I waited too long to get tickets and they were all sold out. I had heard about a small playhouse about an hour from home though so I looked up their show schedule. The Cumberland County Playhouse was showing the musical All Shook Up! It's a story created around Elvis songs. We've listened to the Broadway recording and it sounded fun. So we decided to go there for her birthday instead.
There was no worry about being underdressed as the playhouse is in a barn! It was a silly show and a lot of fun. Of course, the music was awesome! We're not surprised it didn't win any Tony Awards, but we really enjoyed it and plan to see more shows there in the future.
