Davy Crockett is probably the most famous East Tennessean (Elvis if the most famous from the whole state of course) so we figured we'd better make it to his birthplace. Lisa and I drove to Limestone, TN to see where the "King of the Wild Frontier" was born. It was a pretty drive, but an overall unimpressive place. The visitors center is only open for a few hours on weekdays, but I don't think we missed much. At least we can say we've been now.
