If you've seen posts from the past, you know that we get to see all kinds of animals out of our window. We've seen squirrels, rabbits, turtles, cats, snakes, and many different types of birds. Bailey loves seeing them. Too give her more opportunities to see some birds, I bought a bird feeder to stick on the window. We get cardinals, blue birds, blue jays, mocking birds, doves, and others that I don't know the names of. Bailey will sit for hours and watch them.
Some times that is tiring.
We have to make sure to keep the windows clean because the rain causes mud to splash on them and Bailey gets upset when she can't see out.
We'll make sure to close the blinds when it gets dark, and sometimes we'll still hear the birds as they eat from the feeder. Last night though, we could tell it was something more than a bird. We had a raccoon that wanted to eat all of the sunflower seeds from the feeder. The raccoon was so determined to get the seeds that it didn't even mind us shining the flashlight on him, sitting right next to window to watch him, or the flash from the camera!
Eventually the raccoon was just hanging from the feeder with his feet off the ground.
It took about 20 minutes before he was able to pull the feeder from the window. Then he sat and ate only the sunflower seeds. Bailey was good and didn't bark. She just sat and watched the raccoon. She whined and missed him when we left so we had to block the window with pillows so she wouldn't ruin the blinds. The raccoon was very entertaining for us all, even though Duncan kept his distance. We made sure to put the feeder up a little higher on the window today.

That's the best!!
That's hillarious. Every one of the pictures were great. The teeth on the racoon were something else, and Bailey taking her nap was as cute as anything I've seen. Looked like she was half off the couch.
