This week we were lucky enough to have my grandma and grandpa stop by to visit. We only had an evening and the next day, so we took them to see some of our favorite spots. Of course that meant going to the Smokies where they had to pose for the traditional "We Went to Tennessee" picture.
It was raining all day which made the Smokies look smokey. Everything is really greening up now too so it was a nice day to drive through. 
One of the best things about this trip into the Smokies was the dogwood trees. They are in full bloom right now. With the green background, they really stand out in the mountains. 
We spent some time in Gatlinburg too before the rain chased us away. It was great to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa and we appreciate that they took time to come and see us!
