Utah

A few weeks ago we were able to go back to Utah to visit my family. We were able to spend a very late evening with Lisa's parents and a nice breakfast the next morning. After the breakfast we went to my aunt's salon, The Mirage Day Spa, so Lisa could get her hair done by McKel. It was nice to catch up. After the many hours needed to do Lisa's hair, we were able to have a nice lunch with a lot of my extended family. We miss being able to see everyone as often as we used to and we appreciate everyone making time to come to lunch (and breakfast earlier) to see us.

We then left Salt Lake and headed north to Ogden and Fat Cats. In the same building as Fat Cats is Flowrider. Jillian, Brady, and Justin spent some time surfing. They did pretty good so I'll save the embarrassing wipe-out pictures for another time.

We all cleaned up at the arcade and also had fun bowling and on the bumper cars. Another great feature of this building is the Costa Vida that we were able to have dinner at!

We eventually made it to Cache County and my parent's house. While there we spent time boating,

shooting,

(Matthew's pistol target)

(Lisa's rifle target)

and 4 wheeling.

We also drove a few miles so we could cross into Idaho and add another state to this year's total.

The last night we had a BBQ with my grandma, uncle and cousins. I hadn't seen my cousins and uncle for a few years so it was good to see them and hear how everyone was doing.

This is the view from my parent's house. It is a great setting for catching up, relaxing, and having fun with family. Thanks to everyone who took time off to be with us and to my mom and dad for hosting us and entertaining us.
