"Disney Does a Good Job With That"

Last week we were able to go back to Disneyland. We met up with Jillian and Brady who were there to celebrate Jillian's USU graduation. As always, Disneyland was fantastic!

On our first day we started by having breakfast with some of the Disney characters. Yes, there was a table of adults dining with the characters. We had fun and enjoyed the food.

Jillian and Brady thought it was funny when they had Pooh on their hands.

One day we met Captain Jack Sparrow. This was only a few hours before we went to the midnight showing of the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The Captain Jack in the picture with us did a very good job, even walking around like the real Captain Jack.

On one of the nights we went to see the World of Color show in California Adventures. It is a fantastic show! We went to the front row which was the splash zone, but we didn't get too wet and we had the best seats available for the show.

We also made time to get to an Angels game. Lisa has now been to every stadium still available that I have been too. The Angels were playing the Braves so Lisa thought she would represent the south and wear her Braves gear. She even bought a hat for the occasion. Prior to the game, Lisa was talking about doing the tomahawk chop in front of all the Angels fans and high-fiving all the Braves fans when the Braves did good. Unfortunately for her, the Angels won the game 9-0 and the Braves were never in it. It was fun to get to another ballpark though.

Jillian and Brady left a day earlier than we did. Too bad for them because on the day we stayed, Disneyland had a sneak peek of the new Star Tours ride that is not scheduled to open until June 3rd. We went on it twice and had fun both times. They have updated the ride to have 54 different scenarios you can "fly" through as opposed to the same ride over and over on the old version. As Lisa said many times during the trip, "Disney does a good job with that." And of course, Lisa is right!
