There has been a lot of rain in the Knoxville area over the past couple of weeks. In fact, last week flash floods shut down a lot of the roads and freeways in the city. People even had to be rescued from their cars. Everything dried out for a few days but now the rains are back. There were a lot of flood warnings again for all of Eastern Tennessee. Lisa and I went to the Smokies. You can really see a difference there. All of the rivers are flooded. This is a picture of an area called The Sinks that was taken in September.
In fact, this picture is taken from our truck while we are stopped on the main road through the Smokies. We now get to drive through many waterfalls while just staying on the main road! It seems like every time we go through the Smokies we see something new. This time was no different.
